Upgraded Happy Hour: “Kanpai Hour” Featuring Two Drinks and Three Pupus for $20

HONOLULU, Hawaiʻi — September 2026 — Kaimuki Shokudo is refreshing its weekday happy hour with an upgraded Kanpai Hour, available Monday through Friday from 3 to 5 p.m.

The new Kanpai Set, priced at $20, allows each guest to choose two drinks and three pupus from a selection of Japanese-inspired favorites.

Pupu selections include Marinated Quail Eggs, Edamame, Tataki Cucumber Salad, Yukari Fries, Shishito Blue Cheese, and Corn Karaage. Drink options include Kirin beer, house red or white wine, Toki Highball, Yuzu Highball, and a selection of Chu-Hi flavors.

The Kanpai Set is available to every guest, regardless of group size. Additional food and beverages may also be ordered à la carte.

Created as an easygoing way to gather after work or begin an evening in Kaimukī, the renewed Kanpai Hour brings together approachable drinks, shareable dishes, and the neighborhood atmosphere that defines Kaimuki Shokudo.
